Our Trainers undergo rigorous training and assessments to meet our high standards.
We encourage you to bring your entire family, including kids, to our courses, as a puppy is a part of the family. Our classes cover topics such as puppy and dog socialization, dog communication, leadership, child and dog safety, training, vet care, and troubleshooting naughty behavior. You will learn to interpret canine communication and understand how your pet learns and plays.
Petbarn Puppy School uses modern, science-based, force-free training, which is a reward-based (positive reinforcement) approach, to teach you and your dog lifelong skills. Our classes focus on teaching humans how to train and communicate with their dogs effectively. Your puppy will learn basic manners and best behavior, as well as vital socialization and development skills, by socializing with dogs of all sizes in a positive environment.
To join our classes, your puppy should be between 8-16 weeks old and have received at least one vaccination two weeks before their first group class. Our classes typically have 4-8 puppies in attendance. If your dog is older than 16 weeks, many of our trainers offer Beginner and Intermediate courses.
